Siani doesn't have any upside.

I don't see any other teams banging down Mo's door to acquire him, why would we want him up here where he's a career .222 .276 .271 .547 (non) hitter.

I guess I am in the minority on this one but I say it is time to give Scott another AAA stint to find a bat and to let Koperniak have a shot to show what he can do. It would not be the first time a guy has had less than stellar results in the minors to go onto to succeed in the majors. He has proven his self well up until this season. I believe he got a big let down when he did well in spring training and got sent back down for it. Like Baker and others he is left to languish in AAA and when a shot comes it is erratic at best, and no real chance to get into a groove. Scott has gotten a chance at daily playing time just like Walker and Gorman for months at a time and done nothing spectacular with it. Why can't we see what Matt has to offer? It frustrates me to no end. Matt has experience in CF and I am sure can do at least a serviceable job, which I am okay with if he is hitting .280+ with 20HR's which he has the potential to do. Just my 2 cents.

Amen and Hallelujah!! At least their are two of us who want to give "K" an opportunity. This FO will stick with Gorman beyond reason but will not give a player who by all accounts deserved the opportunity. The old - doing the same thing over and over expecting different results - that never come.

The Cards should call Siani up for 2 reasons. One to make sure Vilade is not on the roster. Second, giving Victor Scott a day off every two weeks would be fine. Finally, he is a fantastic defensive replacement late in games or pinch runner. Unlike Vilade who has no value, Siani does several things well on a baseball field even if he can't hit that good. He can hit better than Vilade and he does everything else much better.
