I would honestly strongly consider trading him.
Very low baseball IQ and I’d be surprised if he isn’t on the IL soon.
Overrated

He’s not good for sure. Oli continues to lead him off. Actually he was only decent when he walked. Better off taking the bat from him.

A tease and ultimately a fraud

Been many posters warning about this fraud, but his rate line looked so good when he played around 100games and had many off days during the season
Don’t extrapolate those rate stats until you see full seasons posted.

He has been bad bad bad. I sadly called his strikeout in the 10th. I mean who didn’t see that coming.

Noot has been consistently overrated by the management. Very average player, not that much of upside. I particularly enjoyed watching him jog over toward Kirk's double. That was a fly ball that some outfielders would have caught or at the very least, been close it. The ball was in the air a long time for him to been so far away. With Scott struggling and Walker hurt, it just makes his situation so obvious. I guess the Cards could put Donovan in left, Burleson in right and tell Scott to catch everything he can get to because that defense would be painful to watch.

I've said it a dozen times, he's a 4th outfielder. If we traded him they'd be so much better off.

Padres are desperate for a left fielder and so are the Mariners for outfield help.
Not sure what you could get but he does have two more years of control and gets on base and plays decent defense.

As I have recommended for the past 3 years....
