Bare minimum

Screw Mo, I hate the guy, but I don't disagree with this approach. I would also say that we need some better middle relief arms, too, though.

They young guys are younging both in good ways and bad. Giving them some adequate back up is a good thing. And I don't think we should ship out young guys in order to win now. Let's see where we are at the end of the season, and that's when you make the BIG decisions.

Hence my Picard face-palm... you know that's absolutely the only thing Mo can envision for a bench guy. He's gonna look for another Ryan Vilade type, one who can hopefully Vilade a little better than the current Vilade.

O’Hearn or Laureano from the O’s isn’t bad depending on the cost.

Would also love a bullpen piece or two. Beyond Helsley, Maton, Romero, and Leahy there arent many trustworthy guys out of the pen.

Both, are very good choices. I'd lean toward the RH bat.

Meanwhile,,,, the O's would have TO and Carlson for $17,5 million and would have paid half
of either $8 million or $4 million,,,,can't make this stuff up.
