Will he get an opportunity if Walker is placed on longer IR stint.

Why would we need Koperniak when we have the great Ryan Vilade?

He is a forgotten man.

If he batted right handed, he would already be up.

Not exactly lighting it up
Why would you want him called up?

All it takes is one Cards OF heading to the IL to expose our dearth of OF depth. It’s almost as lacking as our MiLB TOR starters.

But hes not hitting well now. That doesnt translate well to mlb. Dont understand why anyone thinks it would. Hes clearly not seeing the ball as well as he did last year. If he was hitting well he would have got his shot finally. I have no idea why villarde got 3 games in a row. Would have thought they just start barrero a few times or push donnie to outfield more.

He had one good year (2024) at Memphis (127 wRC+), which coincided with a .351 BABIP. In 2023 he posted a 96 wRC+ (.293 BABIP) at Memphis, and so far in 2025 he’s posted a 66 wRC+ (.254 BABIP). The signal-to-noise ratio on these numbers makes his AAA track record difficult to interpret (or project).

To cover for Walker and OF depth it would probably make more sense to play Donovan exclusively at corner OF?
You could then platoon Gorman and Barrero at 2B or even bring up Saggese over Vilade?

So you despise Burleson so much you are going to sit him totally in this alignment? Despite him being one of our most consistent hitters during this streak of good play? I have no problem playing Donavon in left at time to let Gorman play more. But right now Scott is lost offensively and Noot isn't much better. When Walker is back Burlys time in the outfield will be very limited.
