Nolan had mentioned interviews including postgame with Jimmy the Cat how Winn is becoming a star..

I feel Winn having Nado next to him has been part of Winn’s emergence. He sees firsthand how well Nado fields, chases down foul balls, etc.
What a great mentor to have 10 time Gold Glover doing his thing just a few feet from you. Sure it makes Winn wanting to be like Nado in his defense.

Having those two side by side is special. Then add Donnie to the mix. Contreras doing his splits at 1st Wow !

Takes me back to 1964. Ken Boyer, Dick Groat, Julian Javier, and Bill White at first.

Actually I hope Nado is being a mentor to younger players. But for some reason I don’t actually believe that.

Winn has also mentioned how much Arenado has influence his fielding.

A) IMO, Winn is a star today & a brighter star tomorrow.
B) People don't talk enough about how much Contreras play at 1B has contributed to the success of the team. Goldie's 1st season their IN defense went from worst to 1st in the league. I really expected some drop off, but Contreras has been a stud at 1B.
C) I love the Super-U concept, but would the Cardinals be better with Donovan playing 2B every day?
D) Don't sell Pages short on his offense. He was a good offensive player in AA & didn't have much time in AAA. He'll never be Pudge, but he can get better.

One of the most amazing things about this team is how much fun they are to watch as opposed to last year's brutally boring team. Yes, winning has something to do with it.
