Who thought Pallante was the real deal?? I don’t get it….
Been calling for McGreevy since ST….the games thrown away for this leadership is laughable.
Let’s start a list

WC from 2 to 5
Letting starters eat innings
Move NA down in order
Sustain a mostly consistent batting order

NOW…..INSERT MCGREEVY INTO ROTATION

Eventually the fog clears……

McGreevy needs to replace about 4 guys in the rotation

McGreevy is on his way to STL, pulled in middle of fifth after 75 pitches tonight with shutout

No one is replacing Pallante in June unless he gets hurt. McGreevy will make 1-2 spot starts for the Cards in June.

McGreevy's line tonight in Memphis: 4.1 IP, 4 H, 0 ER, 1 BB, 4 K, 75/48 pitches/strikes, 2 double play balls.

McGreevy, 24, came into the day 6-1 in Triple-A and he lowered his ERA to 2.78 with tonight's scoreless work.

Certainly no one would call this FO proactive……a fair of amount of obvious pain and losing must occur for obvious correct changes to be made….

He’s on the same schedule as Pallante. I’d think next Pallante start. LAD goes to McG, and Pallante gets an extra day rest and opens against Toronto

Yeah, some loose form of a 6 man rotation coming to try and navigate the rotation thru June is a good guess.

Come August 1, they will both be in the MLB rotation.

. . . ahh, so that's what Oli was waiting on in the fifth inning last night when he left Pallante out there to make it a game again. It all makes sense now, I was so confused at the game not knowing about what was going on in Memphis, all I could see was nobody warming in the bullpen as Pallante gave up rocket after rocket with the top of the lineup about to come up.
