He can run and play defense but I am not sure his bat is going to ultimately keep him in the starting lineup...the guy should be bunting on hitting the ball on the ground he is useless hitting it in the air...we shall see

Yes. He has went through several hot and cold streaks this season and when he goes cold the players should never slump crowd say the same thing then he gets hot again

I see what you are saying. Also will improve his skills at bunting which will help eliminate some of the slumps.

So far VS is hitting well enough to play every day in CF and hit 9th. If this is peak VS and he can maintain it for 5 years he will be the regular CFer in STL for that period.

Would I like more? Sure. But CF, SS and C are all defense first positions. And he is doing a great job.

He can hitting 9th. Meanwhile, Arenado can't hit enough to play everyday 3B.

Arenado is about the same age as Ken Boyer when he hit a wall. Boyer lost is more on defense than offense, but both suffrered. Arenado is still good on defense.

For Mo, Oli and ownership, yes. Doesn’t matter.

I mean we are 8th in the MLB in runs per game, not exactly terrible.

And we need his defense in CF.

Good points.
Still young.
Has some plus tools.

Scott on cold streak along with Herrera
Team still hit 7 runs tonight despite that.
