Yelich hit go ahead HR early in game. He is red hot past week.
Was hoping Reds could cool them off .

Flaherty has given up just one ER in his last 12 innings over two starts.

I wish Jack the best. But I would not have signed him...would you?

The Brewers' entire management deserves kudos year after year.
Over the past 5 years, their 26-man averages $114M in payroll. Yet they've been in the playoffs 6 of the past 7 years. And maybe again.
Their top 5 starters per # of starts are: Freddy Peralta, Chad Patrick, Quinn Priester, Jose Quintana and Tobias Myers. How?
The Wm Contreras deal was a masterpiece.
The OF of Yelich, Chourio and Frelich is very good.
I don't see how Rhys Hoskins can keep it up, but you never know. Turang is great at 2b (leads team with 2.2 WAR already).
If they find a good SS and 3b, watch out.

Bright side is hopefully they won't be roadkill for the Cubs and those two will keep each other in check when they're not playing the Cards.

Not much but it's something. lol
