It’s not 22-23 any more. Adolis Garcia hasn’t been good for over a year. THAT’S why he isn’t playing. Shannon could say some wild things sometimes, but the man did his homework.

Horton and Claibs shouldn't be anywhere near a microphone doing PBP.

Just awful.

TV cast is on Roku. For free. Just need the app for mobile or a stick for a tv.

Yeah annoying to search around. MLB app will tell where the broadcast is.

It doesn't matter who the announcers are in losing game.

I know not every MLB announcer can sound like Vin Sully, Dan Shulman, nor Rick Monday, but good god, some of these guys are just awful. Friday night on Apple TV they had Dontrelle Willis unintelligible, which may have been his mumbling voice or his mic placement.

I love hearing Toronto Blue Jays highlights with the great Dan Shulman, but his partner is Buck Martinez, an original Blue Jay who must have a clothespin pinching his nose.

I watch every Cardinals, Dodgers, and D'backs condensed game on MLB-TV, and the low point every day is when the Cardinals condensed game has Ricky Horton's high school glee club voice on a PBP call. I just grit my teeth and wonder if anyone wearing a suit at Busch Stadium or KMOX actually listened to Horton before hiring him. He's just awful, and that's from someone who heard 50 years of Mike Shannon.

On today's Roku Network :?: game at Texas, poor Chip Caray was saddled with uber-verbose Mike Baksic, a Dallas native whose voice sounds like 3 hours of Fran Drescher laughing.

Live out of state and cannot get the games on radio thru my computer . As a teen living in Wis. I could get Cardinal night games 450 miles away clearly .. had to be at night though when their clear channel had no local stations close by on the AM to interfere as in daytime hours.

As an oldtimer , I grew up with Harry Caray, Jack Buck , Joe Garagiola .. then Shannon later on . When my Dad's job moved him to Wis. when I was a teen, I listened to Bob Ueker on Brewer games. Now that was entertaining . Both knew the game as former player and added humor too.
His signature call Get up ! Get UP ! Get outta here ! Gone ! still is remembered .

His signature call Get up ! Get UP ! Get outta here ! Gone ! still is remembered . One of a kind ! Never heard a fan once complain about Uek .. Even in his late 80's his voice was clear as in his 50's .. Did it for 54 years ..even longer than Mike Shannon !
