Roby night.

Springfield and NWA seem like they play each other 2x a month.

I think it is still raining in Appleton for Peoria.

I noticed on the Peoria official site that today Honeyman was put on the 7-day IL.

Not sure if I missed this discussed but Baez up with Springfield!! That’s excited. Church Davis Baez is a nice outfield.

Baez coming up this inning.
Roby looking good. 2 innings no damage, some hard contact but good stuff.

Peoria had their chances but could only deliver 1 run.

Baez easily steals a base and scores, then a dinger. 3-0 Springfield.

Roby, in the first 2, was starting that sweet curve eye level and dropping it into the zone for a strike, deadly.

Going out for the 3rd

JJ walked, stole 2nd and nothing.

Roby gets through the 4th.
He strikes people out, doesn't walk anyone, but does give up some contact once in a while.

6ks no walks no runs tonight thru 4

"but does give up some contact once in a while" .What professional pitcher doesn't against professional hitters?

Bernal with an inside out single to left drives in 2 and it is 6 - 0 Springfield.
JJ had a nice AB to draw his second BB on the evening.

Roby coming out for the 5th

Roby gets through the 5th (about 75 pitches) but his first BB. 7ks 0 runs.
Really good stuff, not much ground ball in that game.

I am in a different time zone and a day job, so I am sleeping.

See you tomorrow for the Rangers.
