Is Walker becoming an RBI machine?

Admittedly, there is still a lot of swing and miss to his game.
But....
Walker is starting to have a knack for driving in runs! He hits 7th, but is now sitting at 23 RBI...11 of them coming in the last 15 games.
Yes, he needs to get better! But he's only 23 and is starting to look the part of a big league hitter. And yes, love those clutch hits which bring in runs!

I noticed that too, He only trails Donovan by 1 RBI.

His average is improving too. He's about to pass Pages, he's only 20 points behind Arenado, 25 behind Contreras, and 30 behind our leadoff man.

Just scratching his potential. He is the key for this team to make a step up offensively. Happy for him.

He came into the game batting .289 with a .779 OPS with runners in scoring position at some point you might consider moving him above arenado

If he's finally starting to hit, I would leave him alone. Move him up after Arenado is traded.

His last AB, he took 3-0 and 3-1 pitches right down the middle before taking ball four.
Once he understands how he is being pitched, I think he'll sting those situations for even more RBI's.

If he's finally starting to hit, I would leave him alone. Move him up after Arenado is traded.

You can start to see a little bit better approach.
Little better with identifying what the opposition is trying to do when pitching to him.
Once that uncertainty removes itself he may take off.

let him play without pressure as long as he needs to before moving him up...he is still sporting a below 600 OPS

I said at some point not now. When Winn was heating up batting 8th people suggested moving him up and others said let him play without pressure they moved him to second it’s worked pretty well in my opinion. Runners in scoring position is pressure if you’re batting 7th or 6th and he’s hitting well in those situations

It's been a fun 15 or so games to watch Jordan, MdT. He has a LOT of lengthy down swings, though...so I'm eating up this productive binge he's on.

I was at Sunday's game, and watched a bit of today's game. His stance looks slightly different. He looks less "upright" in the box.
