Were your feathers ruffled by Matt Holliday wearing Oriole gear ?

Mine were not . Matt's son plays for the Baltimore Orioles and he wore Oriole gear at the game last night. The author of the story thought this was a betrayal I guess to the Cardinals. Never bothered me in the least . When Ethan Holliday , Matt's 2nd son, makes his debut in the MLB I am sure his father will go to maybe a Cardinal /whatever team game also and sure Matt would have on the gear stuff of Ethan's team too.

Maybe some think Matt should be wearing Cardinal jersey and prior to the game , using some VIP pass go into his son's clubhouse wearing his Cardinal jersey telling Jackson . 'I hope you do well go 4 for 4 tonight with 2 HR's but want you to know I am rooting for the Cardinals to beat your butt tonight . Really ? lol

I wouldn't care if he wore Saran-wrap. I just wouldn't be looking when they showed him on screen.

Exactly, the author's feathers were not ruffled. It's a pretty misleading click bait headline. The author explains that some fans might have their feathers ruffled over this but they shouldn't. Pretty much a nothingburger of an "article".

No. He's supporting his kid. Parents do that sort of thing.
If he showed up in StL for a series against the Cubs or the Mets and was wearing Cubs or Mets gear (or even Orioles gear), different story.

There were a few post seasons where I was ruffled by him wearing cardinal gear.
