Are they going to be the worst team ever? I don't see any reason they can't accomplish it!!!

Actually 9-45
They have been swept 8 times this season. They have won back to back games 1 time, but never more than 2 in a row.

The Rockies are so bad. At least the 2024 White Sox had one player (Crochet) worth watching during their putrid stretch. Colorado's roster is completely bereft of any talent or redeeming qualities.
The only reasons to attend a game in Colorado is if you're a fan of the visiting club or to take in one of the game's most beautiful parks and settings. Denver deserves better.

Having lived in Denver I still keep up w/the local sports news and they're just tearing Monfort (owner) a new a z z hole almost daily!

How do we know they are not the best team ever? For all we know the league put together a team that doesn't cheat or do anything unethical in anyway, just a team that always plays it straight. No performance enhancing stimulants, no special equipment like bats that hit balls further, no sticky stuff or special manicure of the field, no hidden microphones or sign stealing, no paying off umpires or player/coaches, no nothing except fair and square baseball from the best players. Could you tell the difference between the best team ever and the worst team ever?

The best team ever wins a lot of games the worst team ever loses a lot of games its not hard to figure out

The Montfort brothers have a long history of meddling in roster decisions based on their own personal relationships with favorite players.
They refuse the let the baseball people make necessary and appropriate decisions.
The Rockies are one of the teams who really need new ownership.

All I know is when I go to my one Rockies game this year, the Cardinals will somehow manage to lose it as they so often seem to do when I’m in attendance.

From one of my Denver sports sites today:
The fact is that Rockies owner Dick Monfort is either too dumb or too poor to own a major league franchise. Too harsh? Show me evidence to the contrary. While fielding non-competitive teams has been profitable for ol’ Dick, the city and the sport have suffered as a result. This year, the Rockies are about to enter the month of June with fewer than 10-wins and are on track to be the worst team in the history of Major League Baseball.
Historically awful. Generationally awful.
The Rockies aren’t a real baseball team. They are a little more than a financial vehicle for an owner who clearly thinks very little of the sport, the city of Denver, and their fans. Think I’m just being mean? Look at their record. Look at the lack of investment in the team. He could not care less, as long as you’re paying.

They are now 9-50
They have reached 50 losses before 10 wins….that is unbelievable.
-186 run differential in 59 games. Last year they were -247 in 162.
Lost 8 in a row. It’s their 4th losing streak of at least 7 games this season.

At a pace of 9 wins in 59 games, Colorado will win all of 25 games.

I read somewhere they are the first team to not win 10 games before Jun 1.
