Charlie Morton starting for Baltimore today

Ol' Charlie has been absolutely murdered all season, so bad that he was relegated to bullpen duty. His record so far: 7.68 ERA, 0-7. He has not started a game since May 7. The Cardinals have no excuse not to open up a big can of whoop a s z early and often vs the 41 year old.

The Cards are fortunate that they do not face Eflin or Kremer in this series.

Washed up old geezer made the Cardinals look silly today. His next start vs the Chisox he will likely give up 6-8 runs in 2.2 IP

Morton must have gotten a hold of Kyle Hendricks' Cardinal scouting notes.

I could be wrong, but I feel like he's been a pretty decent Cardinals killer.

Shades of Wainwright at same age.

Most of his bad outings vs the Cards were when he was with Pittsburgh early in his career. Since 2021 vs St. Louis he has mostly pitched quite well, 3-0 record.
