Will Oli give Arenado Monday off after diving into seat ?

Fill us in if any further report but guess Arenado may have some pretty good bruising where he took the blow on the empty box seat .
Though he did finish the game, I wonder if Oli will give him a rest day for tomorrow's afternoon game . What do you think ?
My guess : Oli sits him !

I think so.
Struggling RH pitcher.
Play Gorman and slide Donovan to 3B.

I Know they have made that move previously but I sure like Donovan staying at 2nd . For me, I put Gorman at 3rd and leave Donnie in his regular spot. Dang,Donnie makes a lot of great plays there. him and Winn are better double play combo since more reps. Just my opinion no right or wrong

If it was any normal Monday game, tomorrow is a holiday. I just see some little leaguers from 3 hours away that only get to go to one game a year being disappointed. Nado might be the only Cardinal, O's fans recognize. If Camden Yards is full he should play, unless he can't.

What? Your anti-Arenado has taken over. Dude has been been playing solid defense and has been ok in the 6th spot. He doesn't need a few weeks off.

He's batting .136 since moving to the 6th spot but sure, he's been "ok"

Like your sentiments about that . Reminds me though of time I lived in Wis. , Cards were at Brewers. Only in this scenario, it was getaway day final game of the series. Other than me , the other 3 guys in the car going to the game were all Brewer fans. On the 1 1/2 ride to the game, the radio pregame show announced that Albert Pujols would not be playing (rest day ). I remarked 'oh geez, now you guys won't get to see all time great Pujols get to bat today . Surprisingly , one of the guys said 'Oh , that's fine by me . I rather he not play so the Brewers have a better chance to win . The other guys chimed in agreeing. I was shocked . Found out some fans rather see a name guy NOT play . When I was a kid , my Dad took me to Giant Cards games because he loved to see Willy Mays play . It wasn't Oh fine with WIlly not playing as Cards have better shot at winning. Different times I guess .

I would like to think these little leaguers were brought up respecting the defense of a Future Hall of Famer by their parents but have a feeling they are few and far between. Wonder if Baltimore kid asks his Dad , hey who is guy to watch on the Cardinals that the young father may say ..well this Brendan Donovan is good hitter, and Victor Scott II is very speedy and not even mention Arenado.

Whatever Oli decides is good with me ................ didn't think I'd be saying that a month ago, ha.
You shouldn't make out your lineup for any other reason than what you think is best for the team on that particular day. My amateur guess is that Arenado will be pretty sore today but that it shouldn't linger that long. Heck, might depend on how warm it is in Baltimore.
Taking precaution is a pretty strong thing with the Cards, guessing he sits.

Don't hate Mondays Dog, they make up over 14% of our lives. They form 3 day weekends for people on many Holidays.
They ................ ahh, who am I kidding, they often suck. Hate away.

Ha great point. Can’t have a three day or four day weekend without them. In military used to thrive on four day weekends.

He might be bruised but it looked to me he might have "hurt" his back trying to get out of his seated position more so than the actually fall.

Just an observation...either way what a play.

He may have given him the afternoon off even if he hadn't dove into the seats.

I'm thinking Gorman needs to start and Nado could use a day off.

Thrive or dive? 4 days could do both, right, ha?

Either works.
Just felt Donovan is the better 3B and Gorman is used to 2B.
