How many of you Nolan Arenado haters think that Gorman could have and would have gone after that foul ball into the stands? My guess is he wouldn't have gotten close to it and if he by chance got there and fell into the stands he would have left the game hurt and been placed on the IL. N.A. still the Best 3rd baseman around!! I bet the Cardinal hurlers appreciate his defense.

1st He didn't go into the stands to catch the ball. He fell into the stands after he caught it.
2nd, we don't know if Gorman would have gotten there.
3rd, we don't know if Gorman would have left the game
4th, we don't know if he or Arenado would have gone onto the IL.

Arenado is still one of the best 3rd baseman in all of baseball. That we do know.

Why anyone would hate on a future Hall of Famer that is currently playing on the Cardinals is beyond me ?
Even at age 34, his defense is top shelf. As for Cardinal hurlers appreciating his defense , did you listen to Victor Scott postgame discussing Nado's play .. Every guy on the Cardinals wow at some of the plays Nado makes. Someday when they are retired, they will be telling their kids (if they are tiny tots now ) and certainly grandchilren that "hey ,I got to play with a Hall of Famer who won 10 Gold Gloves ! (in the running for 11 ?) and was one of the finest 3rd baseman all-time and I ran around the field with him ...
Kid: Coool grandpa ! BTW How many Gold Gloves did you get Grandpa ? Grandma said 'she hasn't seen any around the house ! :D
