Not going to post the link because it's behind a paywall. Baseball America announced their top 10 list for international prospects in 2026 and the Cardinals are set to sign one. There was no ranking in the article. Cardinals are set to sign Emanuel Luna.
"Luna is extremely strong for his age with the look of a player who could have plus-plus raw power in his prime. He’s 6-foot-2, 196 pounds with a lean, athletic build and the strength behind his righthanded swing to put on a huge show during batting practice, launching balls deep out of the park. It’s not a textbook swing, and some scouts think it’s a power-over-hit profile, but he’s also a disciplined, patient hitter who will draw walks and is selective waiting for a pitch he can drive for damage.
He’s a potential 30-plus home run threat if everything clicks and made more exciting as a player with the tools to play a premium position. He’s a plus-or-better runner underway and moves around well in center field. "

Is great to see.
Heck, wouldn't be surprised to see Luna misspelled.

Ditto
I look for Bloom & Co. to be very active in the international market.

TBD, soon as his mother gives birth to him. Luckily the Dodgers scout stepped out for coffee on night of conception

Superb news. Why?
There are only 780 players on the 26 man. 390 are pitchers. So for decades we only operated in the other 390 pool of players, plus a minor amount of minors.
This is clear Bloom, expanding our oool of players, and one day, we will hit the big one.
Awesome.
