Is platooning Walker helping with that ? PH for Scott today ? Gorman never playing? It’s just lie after lie

Yep, got to figure out what to do with at least one, maybe both. You can't continue to put guys in the lineup hitting sub .200.
It doesn't seem like Burleson's .291 batting average should be lumped in with Walker's .194 and Gorman's .177.blackinkbiz wrote: ↑21 May 2025 14:50 pm Here's all you need to know: Walker, Burleson, Gorman in the same lineup (and it doesn't help to have a slumping Arenado as the only hitter in between that sequence) = guaranteed loss
Burleson has less RBI than Walker.Shady wrote: ↑21 May 2025 15:11 pmIt doesn't seem like Burleson's .291 batting average should be lumped in with Walker's .194 and Gorman's .177.blackinkbiz wrote: ↑21 May 2025 14:50 pm Here's all you need to know: Walker, Burleson, Gorman in the same lineup (and it doesn't help to have a slumping Arenado as the only hitter in between that sequence) = guaranteed loss
Burleson led the team in RBIs last season. Did you tout RBIs then? For some reason, many here just poo pooed Burleson's RBI production then.Futuregm2 wrote: ↑21 May 2025 15:13 pmBurleson has less RBI than Walker.Shady wrote: ↑21 May 2025 15:11 pmIt doesn't seem like Burleson's .291 batting average should be lumped in with Walker's .194 and Gorman's .177.blackinkbiz wrote: ↑21 May 2025 14:50 pm Here's all you need to know: Walker, Burleson, Gorman in the same lineup (and it doesn't help to have a slumping Arenado as the only hitter in between that sequence) = guaranteed loss
He does start a lot of 'bazar ' threads!
Because it was a [shirt]ty RBI total to lead the team with, it said a lot more about how bad the team was than it did about Burly… and he still isn’t any good at driving in runs. The fact that Walker has more RBI than him says a lot when his OPS is like 200 points lower.Shady wrote: ↑21 May 2025 15:20 pmBurleson led the team in RBIs last season. Did you tout RBIs then? You need to try to track Marmol down and plead your case about how bad Burleson is a hitter. And see/hear his reaction to your nonsense.Futuregm2 wrote: ↑21 May 2025 15:32 pmBecause it was a [shirt]ty RBI total to lead the team with, it said a lot more about how bad the team was than it did about Burly… and he still isn’t any good at driving in runs. This is a perfect, well said, insightful statement. I think you nailed it. They have a shot at playoffs so the plan has changed. But this change has really only impacted Gorman and Walker and let’s be honest, we have seen enough.
