Hey look it's the same top 4 I was saying since I got here: Schaefer, Misa, Frondell and Desnoyers! That is the correct top 4 by the way.
If those 18 players were off the board you're looking at Boudemienne, Brzustewicz, Hensler, Reid on defense
At forward I am looking at Jack Nesbitt or Malcolm Spence in that spot with those players gone. I would definitely think about Cullen Potter too despite his size.
I would probably take Brzustewicz with those 18 players unavailable.
I really like both Canadiens picks, that would suck if it unfolded this way.

Do they have Matthew Gard going top 64? That’s a player i want but we would have to get some more picksseattleblue wrote: ↑20 May 2025 10:54 am Hey look it's the same top 4 I was saying since I got here: Schaefer, Misa, Frondell and Desnoyers! That is the correct top 4 by the way.

I would be pretty happy with Boumedienne. That would be a solid pick.

I would not hate that pick at all! but yeah he'll be off the board before round 5. I wonder if the Blues will try to recoup any picks by trading down this year.Pierre McGuire wrote: ↑20 May 2025 11:04 amDo they have Matthew Gard going top 64? Also I think Paupanekis will pop next year for Kelowna, he could be interesting.

Re: NHL Mock Draft 2025: Predicting All 64 Picks Of The First Two Rounds
This is to all you guys that have knowledge of this year's draft. Speaking of trading down & based on this mock draft, how far would you be willing to trade down & recover a 2nd round pick. I know it really depends on who the trading partner is, but in your opinions are there enough comparable players left after those fist eighteen are gone for the Blues to drop 5-8 slots & pick up a good player & the extra pick. Don't know enough about the value or point system that is in place for draft pick positions. Your thoughts anyone?seattleblue wrote: ↑20 May 2025 11:08 amI would not hate that pick at all! but yeah he'll be off the board before round 5. I think the front half of this first round is as strong as other drafts with strong first rounds, but the back half of this first round gets quickly dicey. But if you're picking Fiddler with 19 instead of in the 30s or 40s, it's double terrible.stlblues1979 wrote: ↑20 May 2025 15:37 pmThis is to all you guys that have knowledge of this year's draft. Re: NHL Mock Draft 2025: Predicting All 64 Picks Of The First Two Rounds
Picking Fiddler at 19 is almost as bad as picking Jiricek at 17 in 2024. Unfortunately, Jiricek was selected by Army, and now we are talking about selecting Fiddler to fix that mistake.seattleblue wrote: ↑21 May 2025 10:54 amI think the front half of this first round is as strong as other drafts with strong first rounds, but the back half of this first round gets quickly dicey. Army is desperate, folks. I've learned that in these situations, he will take the CYA route, not the BPA route. Expect anything on draft day!
