Glad they dropped Nado.
Like the lineup.
Let’s get this series started off just like the Royals series!

Gorman has now gotten 2 starts in the last 12 days... heckuva runway
Praise where due for dropping Nado to 6th. I fully expected Oli to wait until at least June, so he has surpassed my expectations.

The last two years has been enough runway to convince me it's time to move on from the 25 year old Gorman. I hsve no issue with him sitting. I would rather he be at Memphis not taking up a spot and playing everydsy but the team offense is much better without the current version of him in it.

Who do you want to sit for gorman? Burly is finally starting to hit a little and already has been sitting more. Herrera being dh instead of catcher complicates things. It pushes burly out of dh which means that he gets his playing time in outfield when giving walker days off. In turn burly getting those starts in outfield.limits days donovan can be moved to outfield thus keeping donovan locked at 2b. If herrera could get back to catching that would open some at bats again.

Took a while but Oli finally got smart and moved Arenado down the line up so the better hitting damage hitters can get more at bats kudos to him. Took over a year but he got there

2nd straight game after Walker's game winning home run that he's on the bench.
Way to build upon that moment, Oli!

Mo is going to have trade Burly for Gorman and Walker to get regular playing time.
Oli is doing what any competitive manager does, trying to win the game today. He's playing the hottest hands he's got. Look in his garbage can for the crumpled up memo on development runway.
Well, learning how to win is a critical part of good development. Let it ride for a week.
I would look for a trade though. I will put a chip on Burleson to Boston to solve their 1B drama.

I want Burly to sit for Gorman. They know who and what he is, and the plan was to give Gorman space to sink or swim. It was a good plan and they have not stuck with it.
