26 - 21 and seems the record could be even better. I've been surprised, and hopefully it continues. The development of Scott and Winn and Herra have been exciting. As always, I just hope the pitching continues.

You said
-record could be better
-development of players
-hope pitching holds up.
Which point do you want to focus on.

Don’t forget Libby. I think that may be the most exciting development. Not only has he been able to pitch well, but pitch deeper into games than many are now. 7 starts with 6+ innings out of 9. 1 walk or less in 8 of his 9 starts.

That’s a very telling stat- no walks. His whip must be approaching one.

Yep, WHIP is 1.03.

Well that means he seeing four batters per inning, 28 thru seven innings pitched.
That means lower pitch count. If he throws 5 pitches per batter, that would be 140 pitches. If he throws 4 pitches per batter, then it’s 112.

Expected has them at 27 - 20 based on runs scored and against.
Keep Fernandez and Roycroft away and it might have been a lot better.

I'll take that record.
It's a year of some growing pains, but as I and a lot of us on here have said, it's easier to watch growing pains than old veterans who can't do it anymore.
