Now, about Nado

I admit it. I'm a Nolan Arenado fan. Love his defense. I think he's a big part of this winning team.
But....
It's pretty evident he's simply no longer the offensive force he once was. His 30 HR & 100 RBI days may be over. Sad and somewhat inexplicable.
I think he can be a key contributor this season. However, he needs to hit 6th on this team. Love Noot, Winn, Hurdy Gurdy. And we must start following that with Contreras & Herrera. It needs to happen sooner rather than later.
As a 6-hole hitter Nado can make a difference. As a cleanup hitter, he is lacking. Come on Oli...let's man-up and do what's best for this team in 2025.

I think we're on the same wavelength tonight. I posted a similar thread begging Oli to swap out Arenado and Herrera in the batting order.
Between that and the Winn threads we're lining up pretty good.

Totally agree but…Contreras was awful in the 2 hole. Winn wasn’t good where he was at the start. They are both on fire now. Let it play out during the hot streak. It’s working the way it is right now.

I am thinking it may be closer than we think. If you remember a year ago when Goldy struggled in his spot, Oli later reported he had a meeting with Goldy and discussed about moving him down . Rather than the manager just pulling the plug himself, they present the situation to the player getting the player to actually say 'Hey Oli , what's best for the team is fine with me. Herrera is killing it . No problem with me that you move him up .
It's how you handle the move that sometimes is more important than just doing it. You want the player to feel he is helping the team by making the move. It would be Nado you are not hitting poorly , it's just that Herrera is really smoking so need to move him up a slot or two.
