Nolan Arenado's comments what's different now that the Cardinals have this 8-game winning streak.
“We’re excited to come to the ballpark,” Arenado said. “I think that’s the first time in a couple of years, it feels like. We’re coming to the ballpark ready to win a ballgame instead of coming to the ballpark hoping for something good to happen. It’s a different vibe for sure coming to the ballpark. It seems like the energy is different right now.”

Pirates and Nationals are a mess, caught them at right time
Good test against Phillies and KC coming up

Hopefully that carries over into this Phillies series. Phillies are 11-3 over their last 14 games.
Fortunately we will miss Wheeler. But we will face Cristopher Sanchez, Jesus Luzardo, and Aaron Nola. But we will counter with Libby, Gray, and Fedde. So I think it should be a great atmosphere and matchup.

Oh good, we miss the Royal’s best SP by WAR, Kris Bubic.
Btw we have beat some pretty good pitching this year, Wheeler, Nola, Skenes, Gore, etc. We don’t seem to have a big issue with the better pitching.

So the leaderless pansy admits he’s been sulky around for a couple of years when the team needed him and Goldy…….Do they realized they were and are being paid to lead in production and attitude so that the ship stayed afloat…..

Count on Goldfan to find something negative to say - about anything. Even with a recharged NA and an 8 game winning streak.

It’s a weird dynamic. The Cards seem to do well against top pitchers and stumble against guys who are just brought up.

That’s called playing to the level of your competition. 90 of all professional sports have this dynamic. The teams that stay steadier, by beating both good and bad, are generally your league leaders.

Especially when 3 of those games were against Skenes (2.74 ERA coming in), Parker (3.48 ERA coming in), and Gore (3.33 ERA coming in).

It’s called game face. You cannot just show up at the upper levels and excel. Some force of nature must apply and an attitude adjustment is needed. Usually it’s words and rough play.
But just showing up and saying I’m ready coach is just mere lip service.
What nado feels is energy motivation and focus. When combined the human is at its best.
