The Rox are making a strong case for MLB to relegate teams. Bring back the Denver Bears.

The brothers who own the team are famously loyal to their "personal favorites" - players and staff who they like on a personal level.
The owners actually keep an office in the stadium, and they work from it so than can stay close.
It has created a terrible situation for that organization over the years.
The current manager - Black - is one of those extremely well like personal favorites and that is the sole reason he was not fired over the past several years, though it is obvious that is what needs to happen.
Their GM - Schmidt - has known and worked for the Monfort brothers for more than 20 years and was promoted to his current role about 4 years ago (despite being poor at his previous responsibilities).
He has been the worst GM in the game - but the brothers have a personal friendship with him and that has kept him employed.
Super Slo Mo and The Marmot are not very good.
But by comparison they are better than the trainwreck out in Colorado.

Maybe Moe will go to Denver after his stint in StL is done?

He started there in 1993 in baseball operations. Funny story as he got hired after a fishing trip. https://www.denverpost.com/2013/10/28/j ... cardinals/

I’m thinking 3 point after attempts and no two point conversion.

The Rox are truly horrible - 7 consecutive years under .500, and headed for their third consecutive 100+ loss season. They are still far from achieving the ineptitude of the Kansas City A's (who never finished above .500 in their 13 year existence), or the old Browns, who could only manage 1 AL pennant in their 52 years in St. Louis, and spent 12 consecutive years under .500 from 1930-41, with 90+ losses in 8 of those seasons.

Say what? The Rockies are on pace to be by far the worst team ever in MLB by losing 137 games. In their current 8-game losing streak, they have allowed 21, 13, 10, 11, 8, 9, 6 and 4 runs. 10.25 runs/game.

MLB needs to force a sale of the team and/or relocation from Denver, where baseball cannot be reasonably played.

Did you miss the part where I posted how the Rockies were truly horrible? My point was that they have not been horrible as long as some of the historically horrible franchises of the past.

I wonder if the Rox management would consider building a climate controlled dome, and if that would have the desired effect on the altitude issue in Denver?
