Hard question and defensively not sure a great deal of difference but not sure Barrero is an everyday player offensively. I know Donovan is an everyday player. Personally I like him at 2 nd.

I think donny is better defendsr at either position.

To a previous poster, this was not a question of Barrero being a F/T player. This was a question when he comes in defensively for Gorman late in the game when Donny is in LF. I should have clarified, sorry.

Barrero handled SS and CF as a Red, for whatever that's worth.

Donovan has the most WAR of any 2B right now, and is +4 OAA there defensively. He's -1 OAA in LF this year.
