You sure have that right ! When I was 20 years old, I watched Bob Gibson pitch 28 complete games in 1968. Dang ! That was 57 years ago . Tonight , I told my wife of 54 years I felt like I was 20 years old again . She replied, Oh no !

Oli could start a new trend ! Here and there allowing complete games. OMG He would be the talk of baseball.. and we know darn well some other manager would try it too. (MLB is copycat on stuff ) .

In 1985 alone, John Tudor threw 10 complete game shutouts. How many years do you have to go back to find 10 complete game shutouts for the entire team? Since the start of the 2016 season, Fedde's game tonight was the 10th complete game shutout for a Cardinals pitcher.

Thanks for the numbers, as it was among the 1st thoughts for many of us after the rarity.
The BP guys probably didn't know what to think.

It was marvelous, I wish I could've watched it live but it was on Apple TV

So many great things about the game: Fedde's shutout, Herrera's return, THREE sac flies (so great to get those runners at third home!), scoring 10 runs without homers but 4 doubles helped, and 2 double plays. I watched the condensed game this morning - hey a 6 game win streak feels great!!

I'm, I think it has to do with the pitcher, than the manager.

No. Sorry to disappoint your hatred. 7 game win streak too. Again, still Oli.
You must be miserable this past week

Thanks for the condensed recap as I was busy last evening.
6-game streak and above .500.
No question this team is playing good ball, great to see Fedde pitch a fantastic game.

What happened to Tudor's arm?
