Bob Gibson would have been proud of Oli tonight

I could imagine Gibby looking down from heaven saying , ' See Oli, a starting pitcher throwing a shutout does not have to be removed from a game .
and YES, they can throw more than 100 pitches . I did it often years ago and I did just fine . In 1968 Oli, I started 34 games and completed 28 of them .
It isn't as difficult as you think . Hope tonight opened your mind a bit more. Nice job, Oli ! I am proud of you l

PS you have two other pitchers who could do it too .. Sonny and Libby have that ability too ! Give them a shot some night too.

Don’t get the hate. Even Tony made bad decisions. He’s definitely a players manager. Hope he’s here 30 years. That would mean he’s good.
