Good post, guy. I agree. The young offense has been much better than expected. Bullpen and Oli have given away a lot of games already. Cardinals weren't that far away from being a postseason team, but management refused to do anything to help, besides a late Maton addition. Disappointing, really. They could still give the young guys some runway and still be more competitive with just a few adjustments. Mo sucks. Oli sucks too.

Agreed. Since day 1, the offense has been seemingly a transformation from what we've seen the last 2 years. In the past, if we were trailing by a couple of runs late in the game, you might as well stop watching. Now, I feel we can come back at any point.
The bullpen has been bad. A couple of good performances, mixed with several horrible ones. Even Helsley hasn't had a good start to 2025.

The future for the position players looks bright. But, we're going to need to fill about 6 pitcher spots next year. It just makes me wonder, how many years is this going to take? And by then, will Noot & Donovan be FAs?
