Arenado for prospects and they move him or Bregman to play 1B???
Any chance this works for Mo & Arenado

IIRC, Casas was the reason Bosox didn't want Nado at 1B back when trade rumors were swirling.
Hot young player. Too bad for the injury. Too bad for him, that is. I could care less about the Bosox.

Wonder if Contreras would be willing to waive his NTC to go to Boston? They need an upgrade at catcher also so maybe Burlerson and Pozo. Herrera’s name came up a lot this off-season in Red Sox wish list. They won’t trade Anthony but I wonder if they would deal Mayer? An infield of Winn, Mayer and Wetherholt would give the Cards an dynamic young infield.

He's going to lead the team in hits, HR, and RBI this year. They need some kind of a pulse on the team.

You do need to take advantage of opportunities sometimes. If Herrera isn't the long answer a catcher
Why not plan on a first baseman mitt for him in 2026?

Arenado's recent 6 for 43 nosedive would likely require the Cardinals to pay off more of that contract than they would want.

Never know but (IMO) NADO would waive to reunite w/his pal T. Story.
Just let Bloom handle any potential deal since he knows the system inside and out.
