Contreras DH today . Oli giving him day off in field.
Did drop ball at 1st play into that ?
Many would say No as Burly and him rotate the 1B/DH often.

Burly starting again with his mighty 0 HRs and sub-.600 OPS. Hurry back, Herrera, so this loser can maybe hit the bench.

No just a bad break. Ball came out. Rare. But the Burleson start is not optimal.

What are you worried about?
It's like you're not impressed with Burly's 3 doubles this season while primarily batting 5th or 6th?

Last night Seems like after the error at first, the team deflated. Otherwise it’s a 4-3 game heading to the bullpens.

I wonder if McGreevy is here to put A. Pallante (5.32 FiP) on notice since he's regressed from last season?

I could see McGreevy sticking around (in the pen') and replacing Pallante if he continues to struggle.

There’s a low pressure directly between stl and jeff city. Stl is on the east fetch. Could rain all day lightly. Embedded lightning isn’t out of the question. Expect rain delay.

This game favors a Michael McGreevy type.

But the forecast keeps worsening. And to worsen the worsening, it's one of the swirling precipitations that is forming right above us.

I'd be shocked if they even start this game with tomorrow being clear skies. I smell a double-header, triple-header if you count the Blues.

Seriously, though, enoug rain is enough, baseball gods!

Is he waterproof. Resistant to lightning?

Why does it favor a McGreevy type?

Yea, I was thinking that Fedde may get caught in king rain delay. End his gane around 3-4 innings.

MM just got called up on his rotation day. Once the rain delay is over, McGreevy could go as a starter for four five innings.

So long reliever, not just a McGreevy type?
