Hall of famers no. Cardinals hall of famers absolutely. I don’t get people thinking cardinals hall of famers should have regular hall of fame numbers in order to get in

Exactly.. you can be an elite player in your franchise without being in elite group of entire major leaguers that ever played.

My vote was for George Hendrick. Perhaps next year.

Congrats to Edgar, Mad Al, and the late Mr. Jocketty

Jeez, have a heart, ppl.

AH was a really good pitcher for stl.

And the guy is an institution for stl. I think this his his 40TH YEAR as a broadcaster/analyst.

He’s an institution. He deserves his due.

Agree even if you don’t think what he did as a player deserves to get him in I don’t understand how anyone could think he doesn’t deserve to be in it based on his 40 years

Indeed.

It’s a hall of FAME, not a “Hall of Really Good Statistics”.

It should not be the level of Cooperstown, but they have severely watered it down. Plenty in are not worthy.

Here's the difference between the MLB HOF & the Cardinal HOF.

The MLB HOF has information about who is enshrined on its web site. https://baseballhall.org/

The Cardinal HOF has no information on who is enshrined on its web site, but has lots of info what you can purchase for exorbitant prices. https://www.mlb.com/cardinals/cardinals ... and-museum

One is a real HOF. The other is just a store.

Should be for the greatest Cards ever. They are all in. Pujols and Molina should be next. David Freese saw the silliness of it all and rejected the call. He understood that standing in that group he would feel unworthy. Stop adding good players and very good players and stick to the greatest players.

I understand your sentiment, but if the criteria for the Cardinals Hall of Fame mirrors that for the baseball Hall of Fame, then wouldn't they simply induct anyone into the former who has been inducted into the latter? That negates a reason to have a Cardinals Hall of Fame at all.

Hrabosky was a giant among the fans in the 70s. In St. Louis, not so much around the league. And he has been a visible contributor to the franchise as a broadcaster for many years. He deserves to be in the Cardinals Hall of Fame. That is doesn't deserve to be in the league-wide Hall of Fame is irrelevant.
