No, I don’t think so. In fact we see less K’s in our games than all but one other fan base. Since 2021, only the Washington Nationals have less K’s in their games than we do, both hitting and pitching combined.

And this team seems to put more balls in play. Double plays are up K’s are down. Correlation.

They have the 5th lowest k-rate in baseball.

They're just below the middle in both walk rate and isolated power, though, and are benefiting from the 3rd highest BABIP in the league.

K's aren't the problem. GIDP and lack of slug with RISP is the problem, at least it has been the last couple years.
