Pozo is the easier demotion. Unless they want him solely as a DH.

Pozo is the easier demotion. Unless they want him solely as a DH.

thats more or less what i would do --- park Herrera at DH. Baker hasn't played much while Herrera wasn't here so i don't know how he somehow becomes more relevant -- Herrera can at least hit while they continue to rehab the knee.

Thanks great news. I hope they don’t rush him back and let him get back to game speed. They would bring Noot back before he was back up to game speed after the rib and oblique injuries last season and he would start off slow and a lot of people don’t realize just because a guy is off the IL doesn’t mean he’s back up to game speed so there were all of the noot is JAG threads. If Herrera starts off slow from the knee there will be a bunch of Herrera is JAG threads from the cards talk scouts

With a leg injury, I'd bring him up to DH only until certain he's 110%. I like the Pozo/Pages catching combo. Herrera would make Baker superfluous IMHO.

Upon being cleared from his running program, #STLCards catcher Iván Herrera (left knee bone bruise) will begin a rehab assignment with Triple-A Memphis. He’ll be at DH tonight and catch five innings on Friday.
