Let's hope the time off helped Burleson regroup. Contreras is where he should be at #5. Now if Saggese was at #2 we'd be making some real lineup construction progress. The Cardinals still need a "big bopper" at cleanup.

Nice to see Contreras 5th and hope Winn can conquer the 2 hole woes.

I like it. Suggested it yesterday with Contreras moving to 5th.

hey, Burleson is at 6th. I forgot he was on the team.
Good for him. Maybe he can get his 1st HR of the year at GABP tonight!!

is Oli reading CT?
if so, it took him long enough.
several on here have been clamoring for WC to not be in 2 hole for weeks.

Why? What does he provide? WillyCon has more doubles, Hrs and SBs!

Why was he given 4-5 days off anyways? He had just gone 5 for his last 9 and they were facing a couple righties if I'm not mistaken...
I'm as exasperated by Burly's limp bat as anyone, but seemed like the worst time to pull him out.

Thx duce
Okay
Better, at least WillyC is out of the #2 hole and down in an RBI position where he belongs.
Hopefully hitting near the top of the lineup doesn't freak out Winn.
Not the best alignment (Hererra is the #2 hole when he returns) but an improvement.
Offense is going to really need to click tonight w/Meat Man Mikolas on the mound (yea he's had a couple good ones and that scares me since he's due to get lit up and GABP may not be his friend)
Go Cards!
