Bloom certainly will know by early September ( if not sooner) whether he wishes Oli back for 2026 .
In NFL , dismissals are often announced the day after final game known as Black Monday.
Regardless of returning or being dismissed, how will this go down ?

A. As speculation mounts in September , Mo announces that Bloom will solely make that decision at conclusion of season.
B. Mo announces in late Sept. that he and Bloom jointly decided to have Marmol return for 2026.
C. After season, Bloom announces that he met with Oli and informed him he (Bloom) wants a change thanking Oli for his work during ‘reset’ year.
D. Other

A or C.

If he returns they announce during season. If not as you say, quick.

Zero percent chance he comes back.
The Marmot will be gone sometime this year.

Marmol will be reassigned very soon (one may even say with in 96 hours) after the final game. He will politely and professionally thanked for his contribution and the organization looks forward to working with him in a yet-to-be-determined new role.

He will be kept through the season. They will not pay two managers to achieve the results that are coming. Do we not see all the Oli hate on the forum and in the media? If they fire him all that goes straight to Mozeliak and the DeWitts. They will leave him in place to take the heat. He will be let go within 48 hours of the final out amidst glowing praise and perhaps offered a spot in the organization.

Just look at the pretty flowers Oli.

I'd fire him the minute the final out is made in game 162, sending him back to the minors to earn his 2026 salary.

He should've been gone after the 2023 season when he lost 91 games.

At 2-12 on the road he should've already be gone this year.

Does that mean during the regular season ? After regular season but prior to end of October ? the 2025 calendar year as late as December ?
