Reds have won 6 of their last 9 (granted they play the last place Rockies, Marlins, and Orioles in those 9 games) and are 2nd in the central. Now the cardinals get the play them in Cincy which you know we suck on the road.
Expecting to lose 3 of 4 but hoping for 2 of the games.

Well we just took 2 of 3 from the Brewers. I think we split at least vs Cincy.
I’m really looking forward to Thursday’s matchup of Hunter Greene/Libby

Greene's last two starts he got knocked around by the Orioles and weathered a Coors game but otherwise he's been nails this year.

This team seems to play better vs good pitchers. Who knows what to expect on any given night?

at least we'll miss Lodolo, who pitched today.
2-hit shutout over 7
9 SO
1 BB
I know, I know before anyone comments....it was the Rockies.
Still, glad we miss him.

One key I look for ; Will Cardinals hit a few homers in Cincy.
We haven’t seen many long balls.
GAB is great stadium to go deep.

Yea, I anticipate that every time.
also the short porch in Houston.
but..it happens seldom

Last year, the Cardinals were 2-4 at Cincinnati. They hit 6 homers in those 6 games - 2 by Arenado, 2 by Gorman, and 1 each by Goldschmidt and Carpenter.
I remember the last series at GABP very well: the Reds swept the series with the Cardinals only scoring 4 runs in the 3 game set. Very uninspiring to say the least.

Let’s hope they take the series like they took the first series at Cincinnati then

Cards have only given up 23 HR's, the deads have given up 36 (3rd most in MLB).
I'll go Cards out Homer the deads.

Need Noot to turn his road woes around. I think he’ll have a big series.

Would not be surprised to see Francona crank up the running game. Maybe throw in a few bunts to spice up the offense.
Martinez did not get any run support in his last 3 games. He gave up 2 in his last start. 3 & 4 in the two games prior.
C'mon Pallante. Go Cards

Can try, Pages has thrown out 33.3% of base stealers and Pozo has thrown out 2 of 5.
Reds were 2nd in MLB in steals last year though and after a slow start this year they are 7th in MLB in steals now. Best way to limit steals is limit runners.
And Martinez has for the most part sucked this year. He has 3 starts where he’s given up 4 runs. It’s the most winnable game this series.

The game plan against brewers was superb. When we walked them, they scored. Limit the runners. No walk.
They have I think 36 steals.
