Of the 7 listed Several of them are reserve type guys
Only Winn Contreras Walker are positional starters.
Pages is backup due to Herrera out.
Guess Burly as most often used DH can be counted.

They ain’t filling up an ALL-Star roster that’s for sure. MO’s system sure could produce mediocrity in bunches

So 4 starters are sub 700 and one is the primary DH. That’s awful.

Pages- becomes the backup when Herrera returns.
His numbers are ok as the backup. Other Catchers
should be in the mix next year also.
Siani & Baker- don’t see them having futures roles except end of the bench.
Contreras & Winn- starting to pick it up. Should be ok. Numbers reflect brutal first two weeks.
Walker & Burleson- these are the two that are on the clock. Walker will probably get the longer leash.
If Gorman can establish himself Burly could be in trouble. Already have LH bats in Donovan, Noot, and Scott. JJ in 2026 also?

Have you looked at the MLB team stats lately?
Apparently not..
The Cards rank 8th in mlb in OPS
Their .265 batting average is tied for No. 1 with Cubs
They had 259 hits 2nd misty.
And you complain about a few ops guys?
This offense had been very good and you cherry pick a few guys and seem to think Cardinal offense then is awful.
Look at the entire team as s whole instead of a fee guys.

6 of the 9 lineup spots for the 19-8 Mets entering today were sub .700.

As a team, they are tied for fifth in the majors with a .743 OPS. Where should they rank and what should their collective OPS be?

They should rank first! Albert Pujols!

I forget, have I told you about Bob Gibson's 1968 season?

Why did you change your original response. I was going to reply they have more than that.

They are tied for 8th with the Reds and trending downwards. You can look these stats up and not make up stuff.

Donovan and Nootbaar both excellent players are the only two in the top 50

Donovan is 12th and Noot is 38th
