Love to know what Murphy said to Contreras on pickoff play at 1st base

On that bang bang play Pages to Contreras nearly nailing Brewer diving back in to bag as the umps conferred Manager Pat Murphy
strolled to the scene. As he approached Contreras who was smiling with Pages about something, Murphy (with his dry humor ) apparently said something to Willson that got him (and Pages ) to chuckle . Would sure like someone to ask Willson what Murph said to them. Had to be something pretty hilarious !

I used to always wonder what the conversations were like between opposing players on the field. And then we got to hear them with ESPN's on-the-field mic. I imagine cave people had more engaging conversation. Probably best not to know, as the truth would likely be disappointing. lol

You have hit upon a life theme there my internet friend. Pretty much every time the veil is lifted, the curtain raised, or the thing moved out the way what one finds is disillusioning or infuriating.

I thought they spoke when Murphy went to talk to the umps about being out of the baseline running to second and his player called out..I dont recall Murphy being in the field for the attempted pickoff play
