10-4. This is a completely different team at home.

Not sure what's wrong with this group when traveling, but their home record proves they have the talent to compete, if the management could consistenly get it out of them.
We certainly have some holes in the roster but maybe we aren't a 5 year rebuild away from competing if we added needs correctly.
If you live in STL - maybe go buy a ticket. You will likely see a win, and that's the point, right?

As is the rest of baseball. Road teams came into today with a .392 winning% and 0-4 so far today. The Brewers are now 4-11 on the road, 9-4 at home. Only a few teams in baseball have a winning record on the road. The Giants are best at 10-6, Athletics/Cubs 2nd best at 8-5.

Temper the analyses, we're still dealing with small sample sizes. But yeah, that's the early season trend.

The Cardinals also played 4 in Shea against a very hot Mets team, and in Fenway where the Saux are tough, and I think 3 of those losses were 1 run defeats.

Just 15% of the 2025 season in the books, but .392 road winning percentage is obscenely low.
Usually it's 44-46% percent

Built for a pitchers park. Problem is there are like 5 of them left in baseball and to succeed in the hitters park dominant strikeout pitchers are needed

We don't need to "succeed" in road games. We just need to get somewhere close to slightly below .500 and we'd be a division winner with this kind of play at home.

Not sure why this is happening.
Gen Z can't stand to be away from home?

Not sure, but it’s crazy. Our .713 winning% at home is “only” 9th best in baseball. All 8 of the teams ahead of us are .500 or worse on the road. A couple of them have 10+ losses on the road like us.

I mean just win 4 of those road games and they'd be at 16 - 11 and a -1/2 game behind the scrubs!
I wonder how this compares over other sports (NFL, NHL, NBA)?
If same trend, then it may indeed be a generational thing since Gen Z (up to age 28) is now dominating pro sports age group.
