DeWitts need to make the move now with Mo/Bloom

Mo has accomplished nothing in reshaping this roster. Let Bloom take over. It would at least give the appearance of caring.

Mid season (June) would be the best time for BDWJr to send Mo riding off into the sunset as far as having any say in team moves.
Hand the reigns to C. Bloom, let him make trades, roster moves and call-ups to set up the 2026 season.
Won't happen because Mo's an egomaniac and BDWJr has lost interest (proof is how he's let the team slide for years now while keeping Mo and his puppet Manager in place).

Won't happen. It's a rebuild year, whether they admit it or not.
It also allows Bloom to have a full year to build the farm system to his vision and he won't have the stain of this year's major league performance (if it continues to go this way) on his record. He can start this offseason in a positive note and carry that into next season.

MO Ran should never be in the position he currently occupies. Dumbest corporate move EVER.
Anybody seen the corpse of M Girsch, VP of Special Projects? Would seem this team would be having special projects for anything and everything.

No. That happens at the end of the year, not 25 games in

For what purpose?
This season is toast, and involving bloom stains him with that.
Let him focus on the amateur draft, the minors and strategy for the off season…
He starts fresh the day after this season ends..

I would hope that Bloom is seriously involved in any trade talks over the next 90 days, and in particular what we get back. And it seems once the Cards are practically eliminated from the NL Central, no one will want to hear from Mo on any subject. But, the owner's way is to keep him around.
The bigger issue beyond whether Mo and Ollie stay thru September, is the commitment level from ownership. After this year, the team has two remaining contracts (assuming NA moves on). Will the planned payroll for next year be $80m? or $140m? There doesn't seem to be a lot of clarity on the direction, or interest in competing for the division title any time soon. Hard to keep the fan base engaged without clearer communication.

+1. This season is an unmitigated disaster. There's zero chance that DeWitt throws Bloom into this hornets nest.

That really helps to show that considering the aggregate of this organization, they aren't that far off from contending for the division with the pieces they have and they have the means to do it financially. This situation should be a very quick turn around for any competent ownership/FO group.

Bloom should sign off on any mid season trades. Don't let the lame duck POBO/Gm have the freedomto make trades for the future without a check

That may make too much sense.

No one knows for sure except the principals, but I suspect he doesn't agree to the job in in the first place without having at least a voice in the room. Especially as it would apply to any incoming\outgoing player(s) contracted to the team past this season.

If DeWitt had a stomach for replacing Mo he would have done it long before now. Perhaps, though, he can assert some influence on Mo firing Marmol.
