Cornwell wasn't stretched out in Spring Training, but was moved to starter 2 weeks into the season....he's around 60-70 pitches now, and it looks like he reached a wall at 50 pitches today. 3 IP is his season high, so that's progress. First 2 innings were sharp with his offspeed, but he couldn't throw the Cutter and Curve/Slider for a strike in the 3rd inning....2 walks killed him
