New Pope to be Picked by 60 Cardinals! Unbelievable!!

There are not 60 Cardinals playing well enough to choose anybody, let alone a Pope. I had higher hopes. Maybe the Dodgers should pick or maybe the Padres should choose! That sounds more responsible for picking a Pope than the 2025 Cardinals. Not this season anyway. Carry on...

So...funny story.
My dad, native St. Louisan that he was, got confused as a kid in the 60's when they showed "the new Cardinal" coming to St. Louis. Said he got confused because he looked awful old to be playing baseball.
I can't imagine he was the only Catholic kid in St. Louis who was more than a little confused about that at the time
