I will add that the home plate ump was really good. If they always had games like this the need for an automated strike zone would evaporate.

He was very good and consistent until the bottom of the 9th, when he gave Ozuna a base on balls due to 2 strikes called balls.

Funny how the OP didn't mention the Card player who is at least tied for the team's leader in HR's, runs scored and RBI's, who also had the early big 2 run HR to get the Cards going. Also made a good catch in the OF and who also has more walks than K's so far.

Makes us wonder what the ceiling of Noot is.
Are we possibly set for a few years in the OF with Noot-Scott-Walker?

Too early to know, with Noot being the current most likely to be set with for a few years. Should they consider to extend him now, or are they not wanting to try that before the possible lockout next year?
Very encouraged with Scott's competitive AB's, and his elite speed give him a very good chance to be the CF guy for a while. Optimistic.
Walker's improved defense is encouraging, but still needs to hit with more power to become a player to depend on as a starter. How likely that is IDK.
When should Koperniak get his opportunity at the show?

You forgot Nootbar, Chief. I’m sure it was merely an oversight.

This is an odd team. I can’t remember a team with this bad of a record that was so much fun to watch.

No doubt

He's been sooooooooooooo wrong on him.

Noot could go 4 - 4 w/2 HR's and six RBI's and Mel would leave him off the "well played game" list. ::crazya::

Which clearly shows there is an agenda despite all the protests to the contrary.

Lol Noot could have hit for the cycle and he would have left him off

Who cares. Scott hitting is a much better conversation.
