This move has Bloom's fingerprints all over it

Some have contended that Siani was such a fav of Oli that he would never be sent to Memphis.
Well he left while Saggese, Baker kept their spots

Well the so called bromance Siani Oli proved to be false.

Siani had to go. Hope it's permanent.

Way to go Mo for finally being smart and realizing that Siani was a waste of a roster spot. I was saying it in the off season and all season and Mo is slow but he finally caught on. If it just didn't take him a month or two to realize obvious things he would be okay. Now if he would just wake up on Burly but that might take him a couple of more months

Well, I'd consider it a vote of confidence for VS2 and also Walker's improved OF defense.

There just wasn't enough room in Oli's closet for Siani and Burly

This has 2026 and Bloom written all over it. And I like it. Now trade Burleson for anything and we can move on with getting the right young players at bats. Herrera, Sagasse, Donovon and Gorman need to get most of the DHat bats.

Good decision, no matter who made it.

Ok with decision but there was another option with less defensive prowess and not much offense. But it’s all good.

Well, at least there's been a single agreeable roster decision

way to go mo/oli --- i figured it was gonna be baker or burly and more likely baker. the bench now has 2 rh bats with a bit of punch.

Honestly burly should go instead. At least siani has a role he fulfills and otherwise was gonna sit on the bench and not be given many at bats. Burleson is gonna continue taking away at bats from saggese and gorman who are just better players. At least siani wasnt gonna steal at bats from guys who deserve more.

Honestly, at least siani they are content to leave as 26th man on bench and not use often. And it orevents them from having to use noot in cf on winn days off. On the other hand, burleson doesnt bring speed or defense for pinch runnjng or pinch hitting but will steal at bats from gorman and saggese. At least siani wasnt gonna steal at bats.

Theres no reason to carry 3 1b when our backup catchers and donovan can all backup 1b anyways.

Could just be temporary due to Donovan being hurt

Oh I’m not debating that. It should have been burly but I knew that wasn’t going to happen so I was hoping it would be Siani he isn’t necessary never was. I don’t know why people think the 26th man should be useless and just there. But I don’t understand why they want a slow DH out machine who only hits singles as the 5th place hitter either
