Colorado .190 Winning %
Chicago Sox .227 Winning %
Minnesota .318 Winning %
Pittsburg .348 Winning %
I thought after sweeping the Twins this was a
better squad than originally projected.
Since then, it's been an utter collapse.
I guess it's to be expected in a reset.
Just didn't think it would be this bad.

The offense is absolutely awful. Why they never took the DH position seriously is beyond me. I realize this alone won't solve world hunger, but goodness sakes its a start and a clear GAP.

You state ‘the offense is absolutely awful’ . Is that statement solely based on your DH comment ?
If so , check out the offensive team stats
Cards offense have scored 109 runs..7th most in mlb
213 hits…2nd most
42 doubles..3rd best
Their oPS .764 6th best
Their .264 team batting average is 2nd best in all of baseball
The DH may be awful but the offense is a far cry from awful.
Appears your frustration with DH may have you overlooking the entire offensive production.
Scoring the 7th most runs of 30 teams is NOT an awful offense .

Not just the offense, but every facit of the game

Lars Nootbaar leads the Cardinals with 4 HR and 14 RBI. The cubs have SIX players who exceed these numbers: Busch, Swanson, Crow-Armstrong, Tucker, Suzuki, and Carson Kelly.
