VS2 has two hits tonight, I applaud him..

But he's sucked for the last 2 weeks.

Noot still gets on base with walks.

If VS2 can get the OPS (100 point deficit) over .790 (Noot's OPS coming into tonight), then sure...maybe VS2 at leadoff.

I would leave Victor right where he is. He needs to get comfortable and confident. Looks ok tonight, might be a different story tomorrow. Noot might need to ride pine though.

Noot will pick it back up no worries and he still gets on base with walks

Cards have managed to amass a collection of some the streakiest hitters I’ve seen on a team together…..used to seeing some 0 for a couple games or so but these fellas got half a month or more of being complete dead zones.
I’ve said this before a few times
The one position more than any other required on this team is
A SHRINK

Scott .321 OBP
Noot .380 OBP

With that said, a top 3 of Scott, Noot, and Hurdy Gurdy would be interesting. I'd go for it...

Yes, Noot's cooled off...but he's still seeing a ton of pitches and he'(poop) the ball hard a couple times tonight. I think he'd be ideal in the 2-hole...taking pitches and allowing Scott to steal.

Glad to see you confirm something like I posted a long time ago. You must have missed it. Or was just too caught up in the Noot/leadoff hype. Stay tuned. LOL

Nootbaar is so overrated by CT. He's not that good. Average player. But that puts him on the A team on this roster.

This was my thinking as well, Scott can electrify this lineup. While I do like the R-L-R-L set up, Scott and Noot 1-2 would be interesting against RHPs

Why not try it against RH'd SP's?

Scott CF (L)
Noot LF (L)
Donovan 2B (L)
Arenado 3B (R)
Contreras 1B (R)
Gorman DH (L)
Walker RF (R)
Pages/Pozo C (R)
Winn SS (R)

When Herrera returns, put him at DH a good % of the time.

You’re vastly underrating him. He’s a top 60 offensive player in obp, ops, RBIs, walks, runs, and homeruns. Top 40 in many of them. More walks than strikeouts too

They will go silent again once he starts heating up again and he will
