Let's see what he can do with extended at bats. He was Texas League MVP at 21. He currently has a .455 batting average with a 1.071 OPS for the Cardinals.

Yes, we were all anxiously awaiting an update after his "what would you do with Saggese" thread from less than 24 hours ago: viewtopic.php?t=1511173&hilit=saggese

Stop calling people names. You lectured everyone about this on OregonRedbirds thread. Do we need to link you this thread like you did?

And you need to ease up on the classless, personal name calling on a public forum. Don't you think?

I just double checked, and I didn't call you a name....You did that. And then you attacked NYCardsfan in a vicious manner.

I only thanked you for making us aware of your readiness with a redundant thread on Saggese

I like Saggese.
Not looking to be snarky just a sincere question.
Who would you propose “sit” so that Saggese can get more AB’s??

Good question. Maybe Gorman and even Burleson, And Honorable Mention, Contreras and Arenado. But, I know, the high cost salaries wouldn't allow that.

Ok fine let’s follow up on that:
I suppose Saggese could grind out some time at corner OF?
But Noot is going to play every day and Walker needs to play also.
Winn & Arenado are locks on the left side and so is WC at 1B.
So like you mentioned, that leaves 2B or DH.
Donovan is leading the league in hitting so he will
justifiably play either every day.
Gorman has a higher ceiling and he certainly should be in there ahead of Saggese vs RH pitching.
Now....I can see keeping Saggese ahead of Baker but any way you slice it once Winn returns we’ll probably only see him vs. LH pitching!
That does NOT lead to a LOT of AB’s for him at this time.
If....a trade goes down(Arenado? Gorman?) for pitching then it creates a domino affect which could open things up for him?
Until then he will serve as a valuable reserve and part time starter vs. LH pitching.
Again....I like Saggese but at the moment it is not his time to be a regular.

Do you realize you started another Saggese thread yesterday?

This one is redundant. Certainly not needed. It's why so many loathe your existence on this forum! You're worse than a telemarketer.

Oh well, at least I don't have to put up with your shenanigans on The Cardinal Nation!

I just gave you a “constructive” opinion!
As for being “sure” I am not personally involved with the team and neither are you.
As for my “opinion”.....yes....I would mostly play Gorman ahead of Saggese vs. RH pitching as I believe he has a higher ceiling.
So...your “opinion” is Saggese over Gorman vs. RH pitching?

Gorman still strikes out too much vs RHP. Maybe see how Saggese could do vs RHP. Agree?
