Cards come into this 4 game set with the Mets and the Mets offense is struggling a bit this year. Hope the pitching can continue to pitch like they have and keep their offense down.

Alonso: .365/.474/.730 245 OPS+

Soto: .231/.367/.431 131 OPS+

Torrens: .275/.310/.475 125 OPS+

Acuna: .263/.349/.342 102 OPS+

Nimmo: .203/.263/.420 95 OPS+

Lindor: .239/.308/.343 89 OPS+

Winker: .200/.256/.400 88 OPS+

Marte: .167/.278/.300 68 OPS+

Vientos: .145/.254/.210 37 OPS+

Baty: .175/.175/.250 22 OPS+

I'd also add in Soto.

I noticed the same thing FGM

Stay away from the Polar Bear, limit Lindor & Soto's OB time and Cards should be able to do no worse than spilt this series.

Yea, it’s true. Only a matter of time for him. Since starting out really well over 4 games in March, he’s hitting .212/.328/.385 in April. Mets haven’t even played many tough pitching matchups. They’ve had 6 games vs the Marlins and 3 vs the Athletics, two of the worst pitching staffs in baseball.

Watch Torrens and Acuna to be thorns.

Hope not!

The good news BDog, our starters/relievers have been pitching great the last 7 days:

1.67 ERA (#2 in MLB)
0.81 WHiP (#1 in MLB)
.169 BAA (#3 in MLB)

Last 67 innings pitched we have been scored upon nine times, eight of which were one or two runs per those innings. The only blemish is the Peña three run jack.

Mets are at 19-22 ranked in most offensive catagories. .219 BA. However, they rank first in ERA. And tenth and above in many pitching catagories.

Should be several one run games, and maybe a couple extra.

Cards get out coached in extra's to date.

An opportunity?

Agreed. We have a weak extra inning strategy. I hunk we are still winless?

I just want Alonso to have a rough series. Can't stand the guy.
