Can Cardinals pioneer Pujols and Molina as Co/Managers?
Would the fans come back?

No! The manager helps of course but not that much. Mo is a baseball moron. So is DeWitt the younger. Sell the team please!

A better constructed team that can execute well on the field would help.

This team is loaded with AAA and AAAA players. They are not stars!!

For one series. Then winning would be the barometer.

No "Co-Manage" needed, just Albert

And yes it would put butts in the seats because (IMO) Albert is going to be a quality Manager (unlike the moron we now have in the dugout).

Not unless they are winning then it will be them coming to see the team. There may a few that come out just to see Pujols sit around on the bench but they would be so few it wouldnt make much of a difference in attendance

The track record of all time great players being great managers is pretty short. Frank Robinson was decent as a manager. Ted Williams was not good. The players really hated Rogers Hornsby. Joe Torre was a pretty good player and a good manager (with the right roster). Put is this way, there is not a player in Albert's orbit of career WAR, who also was even a pretty good manager. Guys with that much ability don't always understand guys with less ability. Like many of us, they trick themselves into believing that their work ethic was what set them apart and if all players work as hard as they did, they would all accomplish the same things. Of course, this is nonsense.

I think Pujols would out perform Marmol as a manager and we’d win more. What my original question was intended to draw out was that it might show fans that ownership is listening and a chance of Marmol go Pujols would show a change in the current status quo and fans would begin to buy tickets to support Pujols and his 26 players. I for one think it would accelerate the reset. I’d rather have it sooner than later.
