Sagesse home run wow what a shot.Arenado to me looks as if he is playing to get moved to a contender, I think he knows it's going to happen. I hope it does for him..Fools gold first two series we played this year , this series showed who they really are.

Yep, agreed! I’m not sure what people expected to happen after a 4-2 start against mediocre teams. The Cards are a .500ish team. Over the long haul, they will go 4-2 against the meh teams and 2-4 against the better teams. That is what .500ish teams do. This cat ain’t gonna bark.

The Dodgers, as usual, made the right call on a trade and ended up with two players (Edman and Kopech) who helped them win that championship.

Does one series necessarily show you who you really are ... Brewers got blown out by Yankees in opening series.. the final two games Milwaukee allowed 32 runs .. a 20 run game and 12 in the finale. So after starting out 0-4 , they are now 5-5
Did Yankee blowouts show Brewe3rs who they really were ?

Agree with both of ya. I don't expect anything better than.500 this year if that. But I do expect we will see some nice improvement from the younger players who should get to play most everyday. That's what I will be looking at this year.

Remember last year? Early on the Cards swept the Dodgers and many oh here went ape [shirt]. Even the sports writers did. Changing your thinking about how a team will perform over a season by how they play for a week or two is not smart. Look at this team and manager (if you can call him that) and unless major changes are made (which isn't going to happen) we have us a .500 or so team here to watch. So enjoy it for what it is. The team the way it is won't even make the playoffs. And even if they do they won't go far. They're not good enough yet.
